Fab City Grand Paris is a local network of makers, designers, architects, urban farmers and innovators engaged in the rise of the circular and collaborative economy in the parisian urban area.
FAB CITY RESEARCH LAB
The Fab City Research Lab is a showroom dedicated to research and training courses. Its mission is to operate the transition of the city towards a circular productive model, supported by infrastructures and local communities, integrated in an international network of cities working to the same goals.
FOOD LAB AND URBAN FARMING
The working group Food Lab and Urban Farming aims to develop a network of production points (mini urban farms) and transformation places (collaborative shared kitchens) on the territory of Grand Paris. We wish to modify the logistics of urban alimentation, towards a social, economic and ecological virtuous circle.
FAB CITY STORE
The Fab City Store supports the designers, craftspeople and makers who build the city of tomorrow, on an ecological, open, social model. By re-using materials or producing locally, they all rethink our today’s system of production and consumption towards a sustainable model, by combinating local fabrication and global cooperation.

FAB CITY PROTOTYPE
The fab City prototype is an experimentation of the fab city approach on a part of Grand Paris. It is a POC (proof of concept) aiming to show the possible scenarios of the local, circular, distributed production, and the challenges and issues of a viable model at the scale of a city or a territory.
Fab City Grand Paris organised in July 2018 the Fab City Summit, an international gathering of the 28 cities of the fab city network. More than 10 000 experts, professionals and citizens interested in circular economy, urban planning, digital fabrication, new business models, civic engagement and sustainable design and production joined the event.
We will be delighted to hear from you.
